i have always been one to add more – even double – when a recipe calls for garlic. so why am i even considering a life without garlic? our little one currently has a garlic allergy — unfortunately it is the worst of all food allergies she has.
so for the first time, i’m purposely looking for recipes without garlic and it is quite hard. first of all search engines doesn’t work well for “garlic free”, it usually show as with garlic and free of something else.
luckily i found a flexible recipe and so i made a simple garlic free stovetop tomato sauce. before i give it to k, i had some with pasta. i got to say, it’s quite yummy! for myself i added some spinach and topped it off with some crushed red chili pepper and salt.
