5 healthy fruits and vegetables

it is great that fruits and vegetables from other countries are more accessible, because some of them are pretty good for you!

1. Purple Potatoes
Study showed participants who ate potatoes saw a significant drop in their high blood pressure.

2. Lychees
Lychee has the second-highest level of heart-healthy polyphenols of 24 fruits tested. Lychee’s powerful antioxidants may also help to prevent the formation of breast cancer cells.

3. Guava
Guava contains lycopene, which may help prevent heart disease. Guava can even protect against foodborne pathogens such as Listeria and staph. Guava is ranked first based on the percentages of certain nutrients – fiber, vitamin C, potassium, folate, iron, calcium, and antioxidant-packed pigments called carotenoids – in each serving.

4. Bok Choy
This leafy green cabbage boasts 10 times the recommended amount of vitamin A in just one cup. As one of the Brassica vegetables (including kale, broccoli, and bok choy), it is packed with antioxidants and may reduce the risk of certain cancers, including prostate cancer.

5. Asian Pears
One large Asian pear provides 10 g of fiber. Not only does it lower cholesterol, but it also keeps you full longer and helps to control blood sugar levels.
