after the wedding ceremony and party, our happy couple wasn’t done! the next morning, they hosted a wonderful brunch at mon a mi gabi (my friend gabi – for the chef and owner, gabino sotelino) in the paris las vegas hotel. our choices were:
- asparagus & spinach quiche
- strawberry waffle, fresh whipped cream
- eggs benedict with canadian bacon
in addition to our choice, brunch came with fruit cocktail inside an open cantaloupe and a croissant.
everything on the menu was SO good! i had the strawberry waffle and it was light, crisp and yummy! i tasted the asparagus and spinach quiche – and it was better than most quiche i’ve ever had. m had the eggs benedict and all i can say is all our plates were wiped clean. we also polished off the cataloupe fruit cocktail and to save the best for last, the croissant … oh the croissant. it was out of this world! so flakey, buttery and crispy exterior. i would fly back to vegas to have gabi’s croissant!
but this trip – my first trip to vegas – was extra special because of the happy couple. a lifetime of happiness to them and to a future of many many more good meals to share together!
