since we still wanted steak, we decided to have dinner at the old homestead steakhouse. a staple in nyc for 140 years, this restaurant specializes in BEEF. they love their beef so much, you wipe your lips with the names of the cuts of beef on your napkin!
i had a petit fillet mignon that came with a hashed brown potato cake, bordelaise which was cooked to perfection. m had the kobe burger with tater tots, chipotle ketchup and stone ground mustard. the tater tots came in a cute three pronged vessel, which was a great presentation piece!
since the original steakhouse is in nyc, we may have at go again and see the landmark building. but more importantly, enjoy another great steak!
