was browsing through grub street and found a little place called iris café that was reviewed for its great coffee and fresh baked goodies.
the cafe is hidden on a quiet block that matches its comfortable and homey décor with large country house chairs, windows seats with a great view … and a sewing machine.
you place your order, you pick up your coffee and they bring you your food. cappuccino’s come with a heart, salads with garlic bread and sandwiches on paper sans plate. the avocado salad i had was awesome. you can taste the creaminess of the butter on the garlic bread. and that is one mighty fine cup of cappuccino.
iris café also serves as a retail store for some local farm products including milk, eggs, butter, cheese, chocolate, and more!
this place is definitely a find and it isn’t hidden from me anymore. i’ll be back!
