almond spiced whipped cream

the chocolate-cinnamon whipped cream i made to top the pumpkin pie for thanksgiving dinner was a hit so i thought i’d try another whipped cream recipe from rachael ray.

but why just on pie?

how about a dollop on gingerbread waffles? sooooo good — you won’t even need syrup.


  • 1-1/2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 shot almond liqueur or 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • Grated nutmeg, to taste
  • 2 pinches ground cinnamon


Whisk cream until soft peaks form, a couple of minutes. Whisk in almond liqueur or extract and season with nutmeg and cinnamon, to taste.
